Vince Zampella, a Gaming Pioneer, Dies in a California Vehicle Accident

Vince Zampella, renowned for co-creating the globally famous first-person shooter Call of Duty, has tragically died in a car accident in the state of California he was 55 years old.

Zampella's death was verified by Electronic Arts, the parent company of Respawn Entertainment, a game studio which he helped establish.

The renowned game designer lost his life when his vehicle was involved in a crash and caught fire on a highway in the Los Angeles area on Sunday, as reported by.

"We are facing a devastating loss, and we stand with Vince's family, those closest to him, and the countless individuals inspired by his legacy," an official with Electronic Arts said.
